ES MES Micros Futures Weekend Chart Analysis

Futures traders are gearing up for a shortened trading week with key economic reports, including FOMC minutes and unemployment claims, potentially shaping price action. With ES futures only 50 points from an all-time high, bullish momentum remains strong despite some mixed signals in equity indexes. Traders are advised to approach Tuesday cautiously after the holiday, with Friday's OPEX posing additional volatility risks. A free lesson on the "First Bounce Level" is being offered, providing insights into precision entry strategies for E-mini futures traders.

Welcome ES & MES Futures Traders

Welcome to the AM Briefing Video, presented by MicrosTrader.com, where together we trade better!

Happy weekend, everyone! It's a nice three-day weekend, so let's start it off with a chart tune-up.

This Week’s Scripture: Isaiah 53:5

"But He was pierced because of our transgressions, crushed because of our iniquities; the punishment for our peace was on Him."

Some people ask, "Why do bad things happen to good people?" But this verse challenges us to think, "Why do bad people get good things?"

Christ died the death that sinners deserve, yet God offered a way for you to be saved. The most powerful part? Christ willingly and purposefully gave up His life for the very people He created.

Tip of the Day: Is Four Trades Enough?

  • You don’t have to trade every day.
  • If you don’t see a setup, it’s okay to sit out.
  • One quality trade per day is better than overtrading.

Remember, it’s about consistency, patience, and discipline.

News Drivers for Futures Traders

Monday – U.S. Holiday

  • Tuesday is the first trading day after a holiday, and I’m marking it as orange caution.
  • We will be live, but I expect low activity unless a major event happens over the weekend.

Wednesday – FOMC Minutes

  • Not the actual FOMC decision, just the minutes.
  • Typically, not much action, but be aware of potential volatility.

Thursday – Unemployment Claims

  • A trade-worthy day, much like Wednesday.

Friday – OPEX (Options Expiration)

  • New traders should avoid trading on OPEX Fridays!
  • That means no trades Monday or Friday, leaving Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for quality setups.

Remember: "A trade a day keeps the 9-to-5 away."

Free Lesson: Learn First Bounce Level

This weekend, I’m giving away a free lesson on the First Bounce Level.

  1. Sign up for the Foundations Course (link in the description).
  2. Register & Get a Free Zoom Pass to join us live any day you want.
  3. Access the Core Strategy Academy (CSA) after registering.

Why learn the First Bounce Level?

  • Cotton Candy TA, a well-respected trader, teaches that "If you only trade the greediest point, I cannot see how you would lose money."
  • He teaches it on Bitcoin, but I teach it on ES (E-mini S&P 500 Futures).

Chart Review: SPX, SPY, NDX, QQQ

  • SPX (S&P 500 Index): Did NOT make an all-time high.
  • SPY (S&P 500 ETF): Made an all-time high.
  • NDX (Nasdaq 100 Index): Made an all-time high.
  • QQQ (Nasdaq ETF): Did NOT make an all-time high.

TradingView Settings Tutorial

  • Remove boxes: Right-click → SettingsTrading Tab → Turn off unnecessary elements.
  • Bracket orders automatically for efficiency.
  • Show/hide executions when reviewing trades.

Final Thoughts: Stay Green!

If you went into the weekend flat, great decision. If you held longs from earlier, you’re still in a solid position.

Final Tip: Consider the possibility of a gap up or down—always manage risk accordingly.

🔹 Stay disciplined. Stay patient. Stay green!
