Preparing ES Emini & MES Micros Traders
For Our Emini and Micros Futures Trading Room

Traders monitoring ES and MES futures remain cautious amid choppy price action and upcoming high-impact economic events, particularly non-farm payroll data. The TradingView Leap Account experiment raises questions about high-risk strategies versus consistent, structured trading. Market indices are not fully aligned, signaling potential volatility ahead. With bulls maintaining control, traders are advised to stick to their plans and trade with caution. RESOURCES:

Episode #356 – Today’s Trading Insights

✅ Tip of the Day: The Leap Account from TradingView

Is there any value in trading with the Leap Account? Over two days, the leader has reportedly made $1.4 million. Is this just high-risk gambling, or is there a method behind the success?

Key Questions to Consider:

  • Does it take aggressive trading to reach the top 250 and earn a 6-month extension on a TradingView subscription?
  • Could this be a useful tool for practicing chart trading and overnight trading?
  • If you're a prop trader, could this help with holding trades for multiple days?

I’ll walk you through a trade I placed last night using the Leap Account to showcase its potential.

✅ News Drivers: Market Catalysts This Week

Today is a critical final trading day of the week, and we have employment data on deck.

Key Economic Events:

  • Thursday: Employment & PMI data
  • Friday: Non-Farm Payroll (NFP) – High-risk trading day

Planning Tip:

What does your trading plan say about trading the day before and on Non-Farm Payroll day? Make sure your plan is written, executed, and followed—before emotions take over.

✅ Yesterday’s Market Review

Leap Account Performance

I’m currently in the top 7% but need to improve by $2,700 to earn a free 6-month subscription extension. The top trader has amassed $1.4 million in two days—what were they trading? Bitcoin?

For my Leap Account trade last night:

  • We tested a break level multiple times
  • I placed a short at VWAP, using a trendline backtest
  • Stop was above the Asia session high
  • Take profit (TP) was just before the RTH low

Outcome? Risking $400, I was prepared to wake up to either a solid win or a manageable loss.

✅ ES Chart Analysis: Where Are We Now?

Key Observations:

  • Higher time-frame trendline break – but is it a real break or just consolidation?
  • Watching 6,037 single prints – RTH session needs confirmation
  • Potential No-Trade Zone – between 4,021 and 4,033
  • Bull/Bear Line at 4,067.75 – a key level to watch
  • RTH low liquidity remains intact – does it need to be swept?

Price action has been choppy, making it hard to enter trades responsibly. The morning news driver caused a spike, then the market stalled for 40 minutes. Instead of forcing trades, I observed and made small moves in the Leap Account.

✅ Market Alignment: Are Indices Moving Together?

When trading, we want to ensure all major indices are on the same train for clear direction.

Current Status:

  • Russell 2000: Breaking out of lower distribution
  • S&P 500 & Nasdaq (ES & NQ): Still within yesterday’s range, testing VWAP

Trading Plan:

  • If we break above key resistance, I will only short if price action confirms it
  • If we take the RTH low liquidity, I will evaluate continuation
  • Bulls remain in control unless we break below an RTH low

✅ Final Thoughts & Next Steps

  • Market remains bullish unless proven otherwise
  • Trading inside a choppy range? Be cautious!
  • High-risk news events ahead—stick to your plan
