📰 Today's News Drivers

It's Tuesday, April 1st. Yesterday marked the end of the quarter and the end of the month—and the bulls saved what could have been a Black Friday. We gapped down and continued down overnight, appearing to teeter on the edge of a major drop. While we did get a decent move down at the open, a sharp short-covering rally followed, which provided great trading opportunities.

  • 15 minutes after the open: Final Manufacturing PMI
  • 30 minutes after the open: JOLTS Job Report

Looking ahead:

  • Tomorrow is “Tariff Wednesday”
  • It’s a Level 10 Week—with end-of-quarter action, upcoming tariffs, and Non-Farm Payrolls on deck.

We’re at a pivotal point. If we lose the key support level that has already been tested several times, we could see an additional 4–5% drop. The bulls are defending hard—but one wrong tweet or tariff could trigger a major move.

INQ & ES Overview

  • INQ: Took out yesterday’s high; we are currently in the upper distribution of the previous day’s range.
  • ES: Attempting to reclaim a primary trendline. We remain in the upper distribution—bullish in my opinion.

Key Levels:

  • 5580: Watch out below. Defended once already with a strong V-shape recovery.
  • 5710: Next major resistance level.

We’ve seen fair value gaps being filled and lading beyond them, which signals potential trend changes and countertrade opportunities.
