☀️ TODAY'S PRICE ACTION

A Recap of Today's Price Action & Battle Plan Setups:

Summary: The ES had a small trading range today. There are easier days to trade.

100% Grade A Pasture-Fed "Chop Fest". 

The EARLY WARNING SYSTEM in our group is.... Anytime the first 30 minutes has a range of 15 points or less - it is rarely worth trading. If it's 13 points or less - go do something else.

Pre-Market: (1️⃣) was a possible long entry. I did not even attempt it - too messy. See First Image. At least the zone we targeted held nicely. 

Opening on Zoom: We looking for (1️⃣) trade idea to be presented with price moving deeper in the path with a powerful reaction back north to get back inside the multi-session balance (range) as discussed in AM Briefing this morning. That was not ES's intention. We wait. 

Small Range: We got "small range" disgusting chop instead. I reminded the group of "Range Rules" PLUS "Small Range" trading is hardly EVER worth trading. 

Heck, we didn't even move 15 points from the "RTH opening price" all day.

(1️⃣) Long. Messy.

NY Lunch: A new "Teflon Don" Level... at the bottom of the range as outlined on AM Briefing. Bulls defended it hard today.

After NY Lunch: We made a new RTH low, got back within range and I went long. Range Rules Rule - counter them at your own risk and PNL. Ignore them at your own peril. PLUS price was still in the (1️⃣) Battle Plan Zone. I gave it a shot.

Set One Contract TP at 77 or 70. Either is Fine.

Silver Bullet: Continued chop and a mess. I remarked in the group, "It has been 12 hours since we were more than 15 points away from today's opening price" This will break... which way will Humpty Dumpty go?

Truthfully... after the price established a small 30 Minute Opening Range (13 points), "WALK" was the "Trade of the Day"! Otherwise, it was a mentally draining day. There are easier days to trade than small-range days.
