"Be Faithful In Very Little"

Scripture

"His master replied, 'Well done, good servant! Because you have been faithful in very little, you shall have authority over ten cities."
Luke 19:17

Reflection

In Jesus' parable, the servant who faithfully managed a small amount was entrusted with enormous responsibility. Trading parallels this perfectly—those who prove disciplined with small positions earn the right to trade larger size. 

The servant didn't get lucky with one big win; he demonstrated consistent faithfulness. 

Market success isn't about hitting home runs but about showing up daily with discipline, managing risk properly, and protecting capital. 

The servant's reward wasn't just profit... it was increased authority and responsibility. 

When we handle small accounts with integrity, we build the character needed for larger ones.


Prayer

Father, help me be faithful with the capital You've entrusted to me, whether small or large. 

Teach me that consistency in small things builds character for bigger opportunities. 

Let my faithfulness in daily disciplines prepare me for greater responsibility in trading and life.

Amen.

  1. Focus on process over profits this week. 
  2. Track your faithfulness to your trading plan rather than just P&L.
