OVERVIEW:
What is there to say?
Well, actually... there's a lot that could be said.
The one trading skill to master is the ability to do nothing... when the setups are just too risky... or you are nowhere near a high-probability trade location.
Your ability to Stand Down in the face of the desire to trade is critical.
That desire... that itch to be in a trade... that is often the enemy.
It's like the devil prowling around, looking to devour you.
1 Peter 5:8:
"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."
The hardest thing a man can do is nothing... when every bone in him is hollering to do something. That's why most men can't be traders.
We both know... the market will always give you another opportunity.
It is not going anywhere.
But a blown account... or a deeply wounded one... that is a hole that is very hard to climb out of.
It sets you back mentally and emotionally. It just flat out sucks playing from behind.
Protect your capital like it is the last of it. Because someday... it might be.
A trader who can't say "No" to the chart when he is supposed to... won't be a trader long.
Discipline is what separates the traders who last from the ones who don't.
PSSSSsssssst. You will say "No!" many more times than you will say "Yes!"
Keep the powder dry, and we will trade another day.

It can be frustrating to see so many Battle Plan trades play out overnight... but the overnight sessions have simply been two to three times their normal size. By nature of that, more Battle Plan trades are going to activate overnight. I guess that is just the season we are in. Patience will pay.
