Amazing MES Trade Setups
OVERVIEW
Battle Plans
This is becoming a banner week for Battle Plans trade ideas... and holding your runners!
The bad thing about the Battle Plans this week is... most activated when people in the United States were staring at the back of their eyelids, sleeping.
Tis the season, I guess.
Battle Plan 3️⃣
Battle Plan 3️⃣ was the first Battle Plan to activate.
It had a seven-point move.
No follow through because of an Iranian news event creating a rare 20-point candle in the maintenance period.
A small green or break-even trade.
The key was to be a professional trader and not let the trade go against you.
We take break-even trades and we take small losses.
The goal is small losses, small wins, and big wins, but never ever large losses.
Large losses are created, not designed.
Battle Plan 2️⃣
Battle Plan 2️⃣ was the next trade to activate overnight.
I told the team this morning that if they took Battle Plan 2️⃣ , to continue to hold the runner because you're on the right side of price action.
At 1Pm or so... Battle Plan 2️⃣ was up 80 points.
Going into Power Hour... price was up 90 points.
I cheering for a 100-pointer. Those are fun to report - even if I was asleep and missed the entry. We can always cheer for the other traders who are long!
Battle Plan 1️⃣
The next trade to activate was Battle Plan 1️⃣.
Several traders took this trade and did very well.
Although price did not hit the target, it was still a very nice 10 to 20 point trade.
Once again, the key is to never ever let price go against you and then.... make things worse.
The mistake is never taking a well-defined trade. The mistake is letting the trade go against you and compounding the mistake by doing stupid things. And we all know what those stupid things are... Moving your stop loss... Adding to a losing trade. Those are things we never ever do at MicrosTrader.
it's very cool to see Battle Plan 1️⃣ and Battle Plan 2️⃣ back to back.
On zoom, I told both the shorts and the longs to keep it runner, just in case.
There are occasions when members are long and other members are short, and everybody made money.
this is the definition of looking for the right trades in the right trade locations.
Edit
π OVERNIGHT
Unfortunately, all the fun price action seemed to have occurred in the overnight session with a beautiful Battle Plan 2️⃣.
TIP OF THE DAY
Hold that runner.
Battle Plan 1️⃣ Long from Monday is now up 150+ points... If you're in the type of account that can do an overnight hold.
Imagine if you will, you took the Battle Plan long on Monday, held, and added at last night's Battle Plan 2️⃣.
You're up 150 points from Monday's Battle Plan and up another 80 points in last night's Battle Plan.
Talk about adding to a winning trade beautifully.
There's nothing quite like adding to a winning trade with zero additional risk.
QUOTE OF THE DAY
React less... pre-plan more.
TRADE OF THE DAY
BATTLE PLAN
sa
π₯ Battle Plan 1️⃣, Battle Plan 2️⃣, Battle Plan 3️⃣
All three activated with a combined total over 100 points!
Battle Plan 2️⃣ was the big winner, up 85 points at the high end.
If you took Battle Plan long on Monday night, that trade would be up 150 points.
What a week!
ZOOM
My only advice was... if you are short from Battle Plan 1️⃣ or long from Battle Plan 2️⃣, to hold a runner.
One of those traders was going ot be the big winner!
We called one "high risk" short that paid small. I called the entry and exit. Small quick easy scalp.
Although I'm awarding zero points for ZOOM.. once again today... the value was not in the points called live, but in helping traders stay on the right side of their trade plans.
CORE STRATEGY: RTH ONLY (For Full Members)
At the time of this writing, I don't see a single clean level that one could mark or trade.
Zero points awarded.
