Demand from yourself that you execute the basics perfectly!
A thorough pre-flight. Do you have a written pre-flight? It should be in your written trade plan? No trade plan, let's start there!
Before we can properly prepare for the day, WHEN are you BEST?
Is it late?
Is it early?
Do you need to wake up 30-minutes earlier?
Be honest… Are you constantly squeezing in your pre-flight "last minute" …or… doing it with half-effort with half-a-brain thus you can start trading ill-prepared 'just knowing' you can wing it?
What else?
Mark ALL your levels BEFORE the market opens.
Listening/Reading the Review section of the Battle Plan (Less than 8 minutes most days!)
Each day… before you are allowed to consider entering a trade… Show up prepared — thoroughly prepared.
This could be the small hinge that swings big doors open!
Expected Range
A 100-point range sounds pretty reasonable, but if we get a vomit, expect it to be much further.
I think it's much more reasonable to expect the lower Expected Range to be blown through at 7159.. IMHO!
