One full loser and a 130 pointer.
Battle Plan
Where To Go Long... Where To Go Short.
OVERVIEW
FULL STOP LOSER
I drafted it.
I KNEW it was extremely counter.
I decided... this was a ONE TRADE type of day.
Initially, I planned to go short at 7511 but decided to take an even greedier entry at 7513. Why - what the video above!
I set my stop at 7519. (Always enter with a stop!)
I placed my bet, had a conversation with myself if this was a counter trade I really wanted to take... and then "mentally walked away."
I closed my platform ad waited.
And waited.
Order filled.
I was up 2 points, then break even.
I certainly asked myself if I should take the gift of break-even here, but I chose to let the cards fall as they may.
And they fell alright.
Full loser.
Oh well… a full six point loser.
I sized small. I never made things worse. I waited for my entry. I took the lose as a professional should.
Oh well.
Small losses happen.
They are part of the process.
In our group... we take SMALL losses. We take break even trades. And we have massive winners.
Small losses. Small Wins. Big Wins. NEVER Big losses - that is the name of the game! Small losses are planned while large losses are created.
See the chart below for entry and stop location.
I am reminded of the passage I wrote a couple days ago in the Discord group.
Let me expand upon it a little.
Consistency & Discipline
Consistency and discipline… isn't built on the days the market hands you 20 points easily on your first trade.
Consistency and discipline… are built when you leveraged properly when you wanted to go big… when you waited and waited for your setup that never formed… when you resisted the urge to do what you 'used' to do that hurt you… when you stuck with your plan when you got bored… when you took your stop loss like a professional trader… when you said "one trade and I'm done," and that's the only trade you took…
Consistency and discipline… are forged in the fire of drawdown. Whether that drawdown is mental, emotional, or monetary.
Process over P&L.
Every single day… Whether you want to or not!
130-Pointer
On the flip side of the coin, yesterday's Battle Plan 1️⃣ ran up 130 plus points... right into the next Strong Level!
Behold the power of holding a runner.
Just to state the obvious out loud: had I been able to be long at Battle Plan 1️⃣ yesterday, there's no way I would have taken that full-loser short today.
One of the benefits of holding a runner is… There's nothing to do but manage your runner. You are already in a winning trade. All you have to do is just manage your runner. This can often keep you out of trouble!
Strong Level
Price ran right into the next Strong Level, where there was a bit of a reversal move.
Had I saved my one short trade for the Strong Level with my 6-point stop-loss, I would have been in this move. Oh well, I watched!
We don't need to be in every move... We need to be disciplined and follow our trade plan!
If you took that trade, you should have captured a minimum of 10 points. When you are counter-following, 50% is usually the best policy. At 50%, you would have captured 15 points for sure.
See the chart below for my markings.

TIP OF THE DAY
Took a loser today?
Step back.
Calm down.
Let the emotions dissipate.
Because there is another high probability trade around the corner!
QUOTE OF THE DAY
You can't control the market, but you must control yourself.

BATTLE PLAN

π₯ Battle Plan 1️⃣ from yesterday, it is officially up over 130 points.

Bulls control shorts or counter: small if at all.. that was the theme.
As the video above clearly demonstrates, I did take a full loser by counter-trading when the bulls control... which really is never a good idea.
CORE STRATEGY: RTH ONLY (For Full Members)
Behold the power of back sides.
Today is worthy of your end-of-day chart markings.
A short for 20 points... A long for 15 plus points.. And that's just glancing at the chart here in the afternoon.
