ES & MES Futures Trade Plan #367

Where To Go Long... Where To Go Short.
ES & MES FUTURES TRADE PLAN #367
TODAY'S REVIEW: ES FUTURES
Battle Plan 1️⃣ | London Session
If you took this trade, it was 3.75 points of heat, and price ran 10+ points.
For Full Members: Combining Core Strategy with the Battle Plan could have provided an even better entry with practically no heat. FS BS combination.
Battle Plan 1️⃣ | RTH Session
We got round 2 of Battle Plan 1️⃣.
We mapped and discussed this short on Zoom & YouTube Live.
Congrats to the traders who took this trade. A quick 10-pointer.
You were encouraged to keep a runner "just in case" we made it to the bottom of the range… a nice 50-pointer IF we made it down there.
Bulls control, and getting under Monday's opening, Friday's close, and the multi-day POC proved difficult.
We called one long. One short.
Waiting | The Elusive Skill for Great Trading
If you got short, you had to wait for ES to break the opening.
If you missed the short, you had to wait for the next entry.
All great trading is WAITING.
The pain of waiting makes many traders do things they regret. They scratch the itch. They just can't stand it. They enter a trade without a legit entry. They enter early or they chase. Instead of… just waiting for the next setup.
Or… they take the profit early… they just can't stand the pain of waiting… can't wait for price to eat through a level and run run run.
Trader maturity understands great trading is a waiting game. Waiting for your perfect wave to surf. Or waiting to let price run run run.
Waiting is hard.
It is part of the game.
That said… it is easier when we wait together.
What do I do while waiting? Veterans here already know… I close my platform. Shut it down. One small barrier between the little child that lives within me and stupidity. That child can't click what he can't see.
Tip of the Day
Always Know Your Next Trade:
The current trade is managed. Where's the next one?
Keep drawing the next long and the next short before price gets there. A prepared trader is never surprised, only early.

COMMON QUESTIONS FOR ES FUTURES TRADERS
What is a Strong Level in ES futures trading?
A: A Strong Level is a price on the chart where the market has proven it will react. These are the anchor points of every Battle Plan. Today's short came right off a Battle Plan Strong Level… price popped, slammed back under, and paid 10 points fast. You wait for price to reach the level, watch the reaction, then execute. The level does the heavy lifting.
What is the Core Strategy?
A: Core Strategy is the Micros Trader intraday execution method taught to Full Members. It reads live price action to time precise entries. Combine it with the Battle Plan and you get both pieces… the Battle Plan tells you where price should react, Core Strategy tells you when to pull the trigger. In today's London session, that combination could have delivered an entry with practically no heat.
What is a lotto runner?
A: A lotto runner is a small piece of a winning trade you hold after taking your main profit… just in case price keeps running. Today's short paid a quick 10 points, and traders were encouraged to keep a runner in case ES traveled to the bottom of the range… a potential 50-pointer. The runner sits at break-even, so it risks nothing you have not already earned. Most days it stops out flat. Some days it catches the monster move.
What does "Range Rules Rule" mean in the Battle Plan?
A: Ranges dominate ES trading. When price pops above a range and slams back inside, that is a short. When price loses a range and reclaims it, that is a long… every single time. Battle Plan 6 in this plan is exactly that play, round two of Monday's amazing long. Respect the edges of the range and let them hand you the trade.
Why is waiting so important in trading?
A: All great trading is WAITING. The pain of waiting makes traders scratch the itch… they enter early, they chase, or they take profit before price runs. Trader maturity means waiting for your perfect wave to surf, then waiting again while price runs. One practical trick from today's plan: close the platform between setups. You can't click what you can't see.
MICROS TRADER BASICS
The Three Contract System
The Three Contract System is Micros Trader's position management framework. Enter with three contracts, take profits on two at a defined target, and hold the third as a runner at break-even. This locks in gains while keeping one contract working for the larger move.
The system is designed to produce both consistency and the occasional large winner... what members call the Lotto Runner. A risk-free contract held at break-even with the potential to capture 100 or more points. The Three Contract System is how Micros Trader traders participate in big moves while protecting what they already made.
