Clean, Clear, Crisp: How to Judge Level Quality Before You Trade

Before you risk a dollar, one question decides everything… is this level clean enough to trade?

Clean, Clear, Crisp is George's quality filter for price levels. Before he trades any level on the ES E-mini futures chart, it has to pass one test: is it clean, clear, and crisp, or is it muddy and hard to read? A clean level sticks out like a sore thumb… a well-formed peak or valley with a Fair Value Gap and room around it. A muddy level has five candles crowding the line and no clear reaction. Trade the first. Downgrade or skip the second.

The CC Filter: Clean, Clear, Crisp

Start here, because George says it a million times. If a level fails the Clean, Clear, Crisp test, you leave it alone. The whole point of a level is to read what price is doing at it. When the picture is fuzzy, you cannot read it, so you wait.

So what makes a level pass? George laid out the full checklist in a June 2026 session. Clean, clear, crisp peaks and valleys. A Fair Value Gap alongside. Two-candle clearance. Fully developed structure with a backside. And above all, it has to jump off the chart at you.
