ES & MES FUTURES TRADE PLAN #387
TODAY'S REVIEW: ES FUTURES
Best ES Setup | Battle Plan 2️⃣ ES Long
🔥 20+ Pointer Battle Plan 2️⃣ Long
Perfection.
Ideal entry location was on the money.
Perfect follow-through.
Target Hit.
That is as pretty… and dare I say 'easy'… as it gets.
ES Trading the Day After Holiday Weekend
Trading the day after a long holiday weekend is rarely fruitful.
I present today's chart as Exhibit A.
As long as you enter the trading day with the proper expectations, it will not surprise you... Nor will you let it hurt.
Keep your powder dry… better trading conditions are around the corner.
Tip of the Day
Set The Stop And Walk Away:
Profit protected? Stop moved? Then stand up and walk away from the computer.
Over-managing a healthy runner is how perfect trades get strangled.

We read price action extremely accurately. What more can we ask for?!?!
It's the day after a long holiday weekend. What do we expect? Exactly this. Sloppy, multiple-tap, go-nowhere price action.
The value of the ES Trading Room cannot be measured only by points earned.
Core Strategy: 20 (For Full Members)
🔥 3M BS Base (+ FS) Short... see if you can find it.
Also... as pointed out in the AM Briefing, a gorgeous backside short setup during the Asia session… with a beautiful take-profit right at the Speculator's Special (and Battle Plan 2️⃣) long location.

COMMON QUESTIONS FOR ES FUTURES TRADERS
What is a Bull Bear Strong Level in the ES Battle Plan?
A: A Bull Bear Strong Level is a key price on the ES futures chart where control flips. Above it, bulls are in charge. Below it, bears take over. In Battle Plan #387, the first setup is a continuation long on the reclaim of this level... price drops below it, then climbs back above and holds. That reclaim is your signal. I prefer using it as an add-on location rather than an initial entry. Let the trade prove itself first, then add size when price reclaims the level.
What is the Core Strategy and how did it score 20 points?
A: The Core Strategy is the Full Member trading method taught inside Micros Trader. It is a rules-based approach built on specific price action patterns. Today it earned 20 points on a 3 minute BS Base short, plus a backside short during the Asia session that was called out in the AM Briefing. That Asia short had a beautiful take-profit right at the Speculator's Special and Battle Plan 2 long location. The Core Strategy is for Full Members only, so if you are on the Battle Plan tier, this is what sits one step up.
What does "snappy ladderback price action" mean for a Battle Plan long?
A: Ladderback price action describes how price pulls back into a level... stepping down in small, controlled moves like rungs on a ladder rather than crashing through. Snappy means the bounce off the level is quick and decisive. In Battle Plan #387, setups 2 and 3 both call for it. Setup 3 is an Expected Range long where the reclaim of the 7650 Strong Level is the ideal entry. If price slams through the level and does not snap back, you have no trade. Wait for the snap.
What is a Strong Level and why does the 7650 level matter?
A: A Strong Level is a price on the ES chart where significant buying or selling has shown up before... a spot where price tends to react. The 7650 Strong Level is called out in Battle Plan #387 as the ideal entry for the Expected Range long. Here is the play. Price drops under 7650, then reclaims it with snappy ladderback price action. That reclaim is your entry. Strong Levels give you a defined location, which means a defined risk. Trade the reaction at the level, and never chase price into it.
What is today's Tip of the Day, "Set The Stop And Walk Away"?
A: Once your profit is protected and your stop has been moved, stand up and walk away from the computer. Simple as that. Over-managing a healthy runner is how perfect trades get strangled. Every tick you watch is a temptation to exit early, tighten too much, or second guess a trade that is working. Today's 20 point Battle Plan 2 long was the perfect example... ideal entry, perfect follow-through, target hit. Trades like that only pay in full if you let them run. Set the stop. Trust the plan. Walk away.
