400 Battle Plans Published
Tonight is Battle Plan #400.
Wow.
Four hundred nights of sitting down after our live trading session, writing up the lessons for the Review section, crafting new potential trade ideas, and handing you a plan.
Every single night, the plan went out.
That is what I am proudest of… the streak, and the discipline behind it.
Remember way back in the day, when you had to hand-draw the Strong Levels and hand-draw the Battle Plan mappings? Now they plot on your chart automatically.
That is something I have always believed in… constant and never-ending improvement. Keep looking for ways to make what we do better, simpler, and more useful.
Battle Plan #400 looks a whole lot different than Battle Plan #1.
And I hope Battle Plan #800 looks a whole lot different than this one.
When I first started the Battle Plan, I posted it in a channel inside Discord. When it became obvious this was an important direction for our trading group, I took it off Discord and gave it a home on microstrader.com.
Only a few of you know this, but… I almost quit posting the Battle Plan. It is quite a daily task.
There was a day I sat at this desk... seriously debating whether to drop the Battle Plan or double down.
I chose to double down.
That's my nature.
It is a lot of work, and I never asked for a dime more. I wanted to provide as much value as possible… and squeeze every drop of effort out of myself.
That said… I did not get here alone.
You helped.
You stuck with me.
You study the Review section. You read the Trade Plan. (Some of you read it twice every single day!)
Then… we trade it together… live each morning.
Every question you ask… each suggestion you offer… each request submitted... each review I write… and each live stream we trade together has sharpened what the Battle Plan has become.
Your loyalty kept me at my desk each afternoon… writing, planning, striving to become better.
On the days I was tired, I wrote.
On the days when no high-probability trades existed, I told you so.
I knew you were waiting on the plan.
So I wrote it.
Again.
And again.
And tonight… for the 400th time.
Four hundred is not my number.
It is ours.

🔥 100-Point Long | Battle Plan 3️⃣ UPDATE
Battle Plan 3️⃣ long, early Thursday morning. If you took it, played perfect chess, and held a lotto runner overnight… you got paid handsomely.
The overnight hold alone could have added another 50 points. Easiest 50 points a trader can earn. You were asleep for most of them.
And a lotto runner hands you one more gift. You can't do anything. No dropping down in time frames to hunt for a trade. No forcing a trade. You sit on your hands and let the market work… and waiting is trading.
The end of the trading session push made this a 100 pointer.
That is TWO 100-pointer Battle Plan trades this week, one short and one long.

If you held a lotto runner, this one paid.
We outlined this trade very well, and you had to give a little back and take more than two points of heat. And if you held a lotto runner, ultimately price ran 50 points.
And in last night's Battle Plan, I wrote, "If I had to provide a Bull Bear line for tonight, it’s the 7764."
That is the level we kept retesting.
The bulls won!
The reclaim of this key level... our Strong Level... was the key to our trade.

We finally got a couple great trades during our live trading session.
Two mapped longs that paid.
20 points on the first one and potentially 50 points on the second one.
All you had to do was use the 3-Contract System and hold back a single lotto runner.
That's what we do Monday through Friday.

COMMON QUESTIONS FOR ES FUTURES TRADERS
What is a Strong Level in the ES Battle Plan?
A: A Strong Level is a price on the ES chart where buyers and sellers have fought before... and where they tend to fight again. We map them every night. Tonight they run from 7,887.75 at the top down to 7,708.75 at the bottom, with a few Strong Ranges in between like 7,783.25 to 7,780.00. Price reacts at these spots. Sometimes it bounces. Sometimes it breaks and reclaims. That reaction is the trade. If you use TradingView, they plot on your chart automatically. If not, hand draw them.
What does it mean to dip under the Bull Bear line and reclaim it?
A: The Bull Bear line is the one level that decides who is in charge. Above it, bulls control. Below it, bears control. Last night I named 7764 as that line and price kept retesting it... the bulls won. Tonight's Battle Plan 1 setup is simple. Let price slip under the Bull Bear line, then explode back above it. How deep it goes... I don't care. The reclaim is the signal. Buy the reclaim, keep the stop tight, and hold a runner.
Why is there no long setup right at the current price after a 100-point run?
A: Chasing a close at the high is how traders get hurt. We ran 100 points off Thursday's Battle Plan and closed near the RTH high. Nothing near here interests me. Every Battle Plan long tonight sits below price... a pullback under the overnight low, a push toward 7700 that snaps back, or way down yonder near the bottom of the expected range. Patience puts you at a better price. And if the Battle Plan trade never comes, we may still find a beautiful trade live on Zoom.
What is a lotto runner and why hold one overnight?
A: A lotto runner is the last contract you keep after taking profit on the rest. With the 3-Contract System you peel off one at 10 points, one at 20, and hold the third with the stop at one tick of profit. Worst case you break even. Best case it runs. Thursday's Battle Plan 3 long added roughly 50 points while you slept and became a 100 pointer by the close. A runner also removes the urge to force new trades. You sit on your hands... and waiting is trading.
What is the Tip of the Day, Never Take A Big Loss?
A: Break evens, small losses, small wins, big wins... take them all freely. The big loss is the only outcome on the menu you must never order. One big loss wipes out days of good trading and rattles your confidence. Small losses are recoverable in a single trade. So define the stop before you enter, honor it every time, and move it to one tick of profit as soon as the market allows. Protect the account first. Green Over Greed.
