ES & MES FUTURES TRADE PLAN #407
TODAY'S REVIEW: ES FUTURES
Battle Plan 2️⃣ Lotto Runner
π₯ 130+ Point Battle Plan 2️⃣ | ES Long Runners per Monday's Battle Plan
If you entered Battle Plan 2️⃣ during London Monday morning, survived the double tap we discussed multiple times this week, and held a lotto runner… that lotto runner paid!
130-point move in your favor.
What's the added benefit of holding this runner long?
Zero temptation to counter this move.
All you had to do was nothing.
Zero, zilch, nada.
Hold, hold, hold.
Behold the power of holding runners.
That is the story of the week so far.
200-Point ES Long
Yes, you could still be holding a lotto runner from last Thursday's Battle Plan 3️⃣ and Battle Plan 2️⃣… 200 points and counting.
So far, October is shaping up to be Lotto Runner Month.
My ES Short
I took a short at the 88 Strong Level… as indicated in the chart below.
Why 88?
First, the 88 level had already proven important. The first touch of that 88 Strong Level printed a beautiful, gorgeous bounce. Nearly 20-points… Brave is the soul who took that short.
Secondly… we had evidence of laddering down. This location offered me a small, tight stop… my favorite kind of short. Very little risk after ES skyrocketed 200+ points creating a new All-Time High… just above the Expected Range. Not a horrible location.
Before I went short, I told the traders inside the group, "I still think the risk of a liquidation break is high. Perhaps the 88 Strong Level holds the key."
Other members and I took the 88 short, looking for a gap-fill move.
Price moved down into the Strong Range… and the Strong Levels proved too strong. We bounced right off the top of the range.
When we reached the Strong Range, I wrote… "Wouldn't be surprised if we bounced up to 84."
84 defended well. My stop rested at 85.
And then we spent the rest of the afternoon consolidating between the Strong Levels at the Expected Range for the week.
Why leave my stop at 85 instead of trailing tighter?
Because the risk of a liquidation break remains high.
If I get stopped out, oh well. Three points is still three points.
Base hits add up. Sometimes you make your week three points, five points, or ten points at a time. Sometimes you get lucky and catch the 100-point mover.
Will this be a 100-point mover?
I don't know… wish I did. But… alas… I do not. No need to pretend. We take the trades and manage them accordingly. We let ES do what ES wants to do.
I only know I'm positioned for it if it happens.
Worst case? Three points.
The game is afoot.
Tip of the Day
One contract forces you to choose between locking green and catching the big move.
Three contracts let you do both.
Peel two at your initial take profits… and let the lotto runner hunt the home run.

Scoreboard
Points Accumulated This Week:
Battle Plan: 70+
π₯ 50 more points for Monday's Battle Plan 2️⃣ if you held your lotto runner from the London session.
π₯ 50 more points from Thursday's Battle Plan 3️⃣.
I am not adding these points to the weekly total, as both would have required a weekend hold. That doesn't negate the power of the lesson.
Zoom: 0+
No official trades called out.
Flat is a position… and often it's a "peace of mind" trade.
Zoom is looking mighty pitiful. But trade location is congruent with the number of points earned.
Core Strategy: 20+ (For Full Members)
π₯ 10+ Point FS + Strong Level Long
Not much more than that.

COMMON QUESTIONS FOR ES FUTURES TRADERS
What is a lotto runner in ES futures trading?
A: A lotto runner is the last piece of a winning position you leave on after locking in your initial profits. You peel most of the trade at your first targets... then let one contract ride with a stop that can't hurt you. Most of the time it gets stopped at breakeven or a small gain. Sometimes it catches the monster. This week, Battle Plan 2 runners from Monday's London session paid 130 points. Runners from last Thursday's Battle Plan 3 and Battle Plan 2 are 200 points and counting. The real benefit? Zero temptation to counter the move. All you had to do was nothing. Hold, hold, hold.
What is a Strong Level and why did George short the 88 Strong Level?
A: A Strong Level is a mapped price on the Battle Plan where ES has a high probability of reacting... bouncing, stalling, or reversing. Several Strong Levels close together form a Strong Range. The 88 Strong Level had already proven itself with a near 20-point bounce on the first touch. Then price laddered down toward it, which offered a small, tight stop... the best kind of short. After a 200+ point run to a new All-Time High just above the Expected Range, that location made sense for a gap-fill short. Price dropped into the Strong Range, bounced off the top of it, and 84 defended well. Stop rests at 85. Worst case is three points. Base hits add up.
What does Stand Down mean in the Battle Plan?
A: Stand Down means you stay flat because the trade location is poor. Right now SPX, SPY, ES, and NQ all sit at new All-Time Highs... the lowest probability place to trade. There are no high-probability trades at this location. Every trade idea in this Battle Plan comes with that warning attached. Flat is a position, and often it's a "peace of mind" trade. You never have to short ES to make all the points you need in a week. When the odds are this thin, it is a better time to Stand Down than to leverage up.
What is the Three Contract System?
A: The Three Contract System is how you lock green and still catch the big move. One contract forces a choice... take profit now or hold for the home run. Three contracts let you do both. Peel two at your initial take profits, then let the third ride as your lotto runner. Your green is banked. Your runner hunts the 100-point mover with zero stress. That is the Tip of the Day, and it is exactly how this week's 130 and 200-point runners happened.
What is the Core Strategy at Micros Trader?
A: The Core Strategy is the Full Member trading method that pairs a Strong Level with a confirmation signal before entry. Instead of guessing, you wait for price to reach a mapped Strong Level and then wait for the setup to trigger. This week it produced a 10+ point FS plus Strong Level long... not much more than that. Core Strategy points are tracked separately on the weekly Scoreboard from Battle Plan and Zoom points.
