The past two days have been a Scalper's Delight... and on Zoom today, we treated it exactly like that.
Trade the EDGES.
Avoid the muddy middle. Price is going to resist pushing through it… and then springboard right back to it. That's the game in this environment.
Play the edges. Moderate your expectations. The big 50 to 100-point runner? That's not today's environment — and chasing it will hurt you.
If you get lucky and a runner develops anyway… hold on.
But if you don't like this price action, your greatest edge isn't a setup. It's self-control.
Stay out when conditions don't suit your style.
Period. End of story.
Don't like large candles... stand down.
Don't like price action that goes nowhere for 30 minutes and then has a monster candle out of nowhere... Stand down.
Here's the thing though… you're always trading something. Sometimes you're exchanging your time... choosing to stay flat during low-probability conditions. That IS the trade.
There is another high probability trade around the corner.
